Hello there world. My name is Sara Johns. I am a senior at Utah State University majoring in Sociology. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my major. Sociology is what i was born to do. I currently live in Logan, UT, am married and have two rambunctious young boys who are 7 and 3. I grew up in Lincoln, NE with my two sisters and a single mom. Im sure you can imagine the "girl power" that went on in our household. We were all quite girly but still went out camping and played in the dirt and mud all the time. All three of us girls have grown up to be very independent and proactive women and are still very close. I have contemplated taking women and gender studies many times, and am happy i finally get the opportunity to do so. Since moving to Logan from the flatlands i have thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful mountains that surround us up here. It is truly amazing that such beauty is in our backyards. When i first moved here the mountains made me feel a little claustrophobic, being that i was used to seeing the sunset on the horizon. But hiking a mountain and watching the sun set from the top is a pretty awesome experience as well.
